The Boogie Down Bronx fights a never ending battle with Art, Beauty and the American Way. I see more and more areas where graf art is painted over in this manner. Usually it just provides a fresh canvas for the denizens.

A few years ago, the Cross Bronx Expressway was completely covered in graffiti. From the George Washington Bridge to the Throgs Neck Bridge.
