It was a wet and cold and miserable day on David Island. But duty called and we were in search of some enviromental hazzards. Luckily we found none on the Island. We made the trip in that beach landing boat in the first David Island post. For some more shots of the Island visit Joe's Pictures.
The David Island series of shots are just amazing in so many ways. You definitely take pictures that raise all kinds of questions. To begin with, did you stumble across any old cemeteries here? I wouldn't be surprised if there weren't a few shallow graves there (as in from history more recent than the Civil War). Also, didn't David Island have a small part is a Bruce Willis movie? Or am I thinking something else. Anyway, these are really great photos. Thanks for going there and putting these on line.
