I was in Philadelphia for the Labor Day Weekend. It was a spur of the moment thing and a good learning experience about finding things to photograph in a city that I know nothing about except for what I've learned in school or through sports broadcast or news generated from there. I was based in the center of town and walking is my best method of seeing(of course this has its own limitations). The thought of hunting for shots from a car doesn't really appeal to me unless I am familiar with a place. You could spend hours in traffic and still not end up in a productive place. Asking local and working people in the area usually resulted in the usual tourist spots; not the flavor that I'm really looking for. Now that I'm retired I'll definitely have to work on a better system
great shots - very cool to see the comcast tower coming along. i love philly :)
